Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the sale, installation, and servicing of CCTV systems, accessories, and related services by UK Solutions ("we", "us"). By placing an order or using our services, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms. If you are entering an agreement on behalf of an association, company, or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

1. Definitions

"Equipment" means cameras, mounts, cabling, connectors, DVRs/NVRs, power supplies, accessories, and any related hardware. "Services" means installation, configuration, maintenance, and support. "Site" is the location where Equipment is installed.

2. Quotations and Orders

Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. Orders are accepted when you confirm in writing (including WhatsApp/email) and we acknowledge. We may request an advance payment before scheduling. Any drawings or layouts are indicative and may be adjusted on-site to account for lighting, mounting constraints, and safety.

3. Prices and Payment

Unless specified, prices include standard installation and basic materials for the agreed scope. Additional works (longer cable runs, core drilling, civil work, special mounts, or non-standard conduit) will be charged as extras with your approval. Payment terms are typically 60% advance and balance on completion. Delayed payments may pause support until settled.

4. Scheduling and Site Readiness

We aim to meet scheduled dates but may reschedule for safety, access constraints, weather, or supplier delays. You agree to provide safe access, power, permissions, and a secure place to keep tools and materials during installation.

5. Installation and Handover

We install with reasonable skill and care, route cables neatly, label key runs, and configure recording and remote access as agreed. Handover includes administrator credentials, user guidance, and basic training. Where required, you must change default passwords and keep them confidential.

6. Warranty

Manufacturer warranties apply to the Equipment. Warranty excludes damage due to misuse, accidents, vandalism, rodents, pests, power fluctuations, lightning, water ingress, or unauthorized alterations. We assist with in-warranty claims and provide paid service for out-of-warranty repairs or physical damage.

7. Maintenance and Support

We offer support by phone/WhatsApp and on-site visits as needed. Preventive maintenance plans are available to clean lenses, verify connectors, test recording health, and update configurations. Support is subject to reasonable response times and availability.

9. Data Protection and Privacy

We handle contact details and service information as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for CCTV signage, informing occupants/visitors as required, and implementing retention and access policies appropriate to your purpose.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g., lost profits or data). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific Services giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

11. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, outages, or government actions.

12. Intellectual Property

We retain ownership of installation documentation, training materials, and diagrams we create, unless otherwise agreed. You receive a non-exclusive right to use such materials to operate and maintain your system.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within a reasonable period. Upon termination, you pay for Services performed and materials used to date.

14. Compliance and Safety

We follow safe work practices and request that you maintain a hazard-free environment during installation. We may refuse unsafe tasks (e.g., unstable ladders, unprotected rooftops) and propose alternatives.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this website.
